A true international and European telecom operator regulated in 15 countries
Mixvoip has expanded across national and international markets, which brings the need to meet local telecom regulations.
We are now officially registered with telecom authorities in 15 countries across the EU, EEA, and beyond. This regulatory status enables us to deliver SIP trunking, business phone systems, and cloud telephony in full compliance with each country’s rules.
Mixvoip is officially regulated and authorized by the following national telecommunications authorities:

- Switzerland – Bundesamt für Kommunikation - (BAKOM)
- Austria – Rundfunk und Telekom Regulierungs-GmbH - (RTR)

Why does this matter for our customers?
When you work with a regulated telecom operator, you gain more than just a service, you gain certainty.
Mixvoip's regulatory status in multiple countries means that we hold the legal authorizations required to deliver telecom services directly. This isn't a reseller model or a gray-market workaround. It's a fully compliant, nationally recognized presence in every market we serve.
For your business, this translates into several practical advantages:
- Number portability is handled correctly. Each country has its own process for moving phone numbers between operators. Because we're registered with the national authority, we can initiate and complete porting requests according to local rules, no delays, no surprises.
- Emergency calls work as they should. In many countries, telecom operators are legally required to route emergency calls (like 112 in Europe or 911 in the US) and provide accurate location data. As a regulated operator, Mixvoip meets these obligations in every country where we operate.
- Your service is stable and accountable. National telecom regulators oversee the operators in their markets. If an issue arises, we can work directly with the authority to resolve it. You're not relying on an unregulated middleman.
- You get access to real national numbering. Geographic numbers, toll-free numbers, and other country-specific resources are only available to authorized operators. Our regulatory status gives you direct access to these options.
- Compliance is already built in. From data retention to lawful intercept requirements, telecom operators must follow strict rules. When you choose Mixvoip, those requirements are already met at the infrastructure level.
In short: working with a regulated operator means fewer surprises, better support, and a service that's built to last.
