Mixvoip joins the Odoo Community Association as a gold sponsor

Mixvoip, a telecommunications provider headquartered in Luxembourg, has joined the Odoo Community Association (OCA) as a Gold Sponsor. Through this sponsorship, Mixvoip supports the OCA’s mission to promote and protect the Odoo open-source ecosystem while contributing to its long-term sustainability.
 
Operating in Luxembourg, Belgium, France, and Germany, Mixvoip delivers fully regulated and compliant VoIP services in more than 20 countries. The company provides number portability guarantees and operates in accordance with national and European telecom regulations, supporting organizations that rely on Odoo for business-critical processes.

Supporting a balanced Odoo ecosystem

Mixvoip believes that Odoo’s strength comes from an ecosystem where the commercial and open-source editions can develop side by side. “When both models coexist, the platform benefits from long-term investment in stability and security while still keeping the openness that allows integrators and the community to extend Odoo in practical, real-world ways,” said Loïc Didelot, CEO of Mixvoip.
From Mixvoip’s perspective, this balance is also economically rational: a sustainable commercial edition supports continuous maintenance and scaling efforts, while the Community edition preserves transparency and encourages broad adoption which creaties more contributors, more integrations, and ultimately a stronger ecosystem for everyone.

Telephony integration for Odoo environments

Mixvoip’s Voxbi Cloud PBX is deepy integrated with Odoo and can be deployed in a few clicks across Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, and self-hosted installations. The integration enables users to place and receive calls directly from Odoo and automatically log call actions, including AI-generated summaries powered by Mixvoip's internally developed and hosted AI.
In the coming months, Mixvoip plans to introduce a licensing model that is not based on a per-user fee, making advanced VoIP integration more accessible for organizations using Odoo Community edition.
