Our PBX supports multicast functionality, enabling you to broadcast manual or prerecorded announcements instantly to all connected phones—or just a specific group.

This immediate, wide-reaching broadcast becomes especially critical when every second counts. During an emergency, people need clear instructions at once. Multicast announcements let you cut through background noise and individual line congestion by sending a single message to every relevant phone simultaneously. Because the audio plays instantly on each device, staff receive evacuation orders, safety directions, or lockdown alerts in real time, reducing confusion and helping everyone act quickly.

While particularly useful for emergencies, this feature can also be used for any kind of notification targeting one or more groups of colleagues.

We’re also introducing silent alerting via Shelly lamps, which support the full RGBW (Red-Green-Blue-White) color spectrum and can therefore light up in any requested color. You could also use this in noisy areas to get notified about incoming calls. If this is not enough for you, we can also add high-volume audio buzzers to the installation, making sure you never miss a call or alert.
