In-call text messages
Exchange short text messages during a call to share information without spelling errors.
What changes
Users can send and receive brief text messages while actively engaged in a call. This feature reduces the need to spell out names, URLs, or phone numbers verbally.
The messaging interface appears alongside the call controls in the web client, enabling seamless communication without disrupting the call flow.
How it works
- During a call, open the in-call text message panel in the web client.
- Type a short message and send it to the other participant(s).
- Received messages appear in the panel in real time.
- Continue the call while exchanging messages as needed.
