Universal HID support and tested devices list
Universal support for side button through HID protocol now implemented and tested on multiple devices.
What changes
The side button on headsets now universally supports answering and hanging up calls via the HID protocol. Previously, this functionality was limited to Jabra and a few other devices.
This improvement extends compatibility to a broader range of headsets on the Windows client, enhancing user experience and device integration.
How it works
- The Windows client detects connected headsets supporting the HID protocol.
- Side button presses are captured and interpreted as call control commands.
- The client sends appropriate signals to answer or hang up calls.
- Tested devices list is maintained and updated to ensure compatibility.
